Strange Red stuff on Battery

It came like this from the factory..
2k2 Civic LX auto



Does anyone else have this red liquid/paste on their battery???

Ya its just a grease they use on the battery terminals to keep them from corroding.

its grease...mine has it on there but its kinda yellow/brown....not red.....

on mine too, he was right dieelectric grease, for a reason keep it there, works great by the way, i put some on all my new batteries you can buy it for cheap
