Body kits and winter?!

Just curious as to the types of problems I would run into in the winter seasons, if I decide to install a body kit on my car? I live in Chicago, so we get lots of snow and salted roads! Thanks for any tips and info.

Um you get alot of snow cloged up all over the place and you also get alot of ice...
IMO its really hard to drive with a bodykit in the winter

BTW if you are going to add a bodykit and leave in on in the winter becareful on the roads where there are big piles of snow I somewhat dented my front when I was driving in a snow storm.

I also live in chicago and had a kit on my last car. it was fine the first winter but the second one(like 2 yrs ago) when we had that real bad snow, like 3ft in a week. Well is destroyed my kit - I had to drive, neede to get toschool and work and the ice junks in the street just ate it up. Dont want to discourage you, just being honest. By the way it was not a cheap kit, it was from wings west.b

.......
yea,.......just swap your front and rear stock bumper in the winter......leave the sid skirts on........
It won't take but 30 minutes to swap out both......totaly worth it......
or just buy the OEM kit......not to crazy.....but still looks good......
