Around 85. I lack the guts to go any faster. But I was only going with traffic and sped up to beable to lane change so the guy behind me could get past.

All car manufacturers do that. Look at the vette. Its speedo goes up to 200mph but it gives out at around 175mph.
ya 175-180 is the max! my friend has a vette.

Make sure you find out after breaking the car in and you're NOT on stock tires.

Must've been the first time he went that fast. I remember my first time going pretty fast when my bro went 90-115 in his 92 Integ LS (auto... stock) I was like, "Woah this is pretty fast." It felt weird. But afterwards you get used to the speed. I've been @135 in my friend's stock Supra n/a. Unfortunately he got caught by the police at 103.

Try telling that to the highway patrol. You'll be once you get caught. It's a risk cuz you never know what could happen, even if the freeway's deserted there might be a chance of some people crossing it at BAM you dismember their arms, waist, head, and legs... ok, that's enuff... 206 kph, but I believe If you have the room and no rev-limiter you could take it up to about 212 kph.

135mph, stock wheels and tires, no redline yet, no problems, no fuel cutoff, it was downhill quite a bit, but that makes no drivetrain difference, only quicker acceleration

219Kph - 136Mph Only once, in a very sligth descent.

Frequently I go up to 210Kph - 130Mph, With one or two passengers.

Uphill it does from 190Kph - 118Mph@5700rpm to 197Kph - 122,5Mph

It goes real easily to 195-200Kph but after that it needs some room.
I usually cruise at 180Kph - 112Mph in some higways with 3 passengers.

The reason why it is set to that high, is because, it gives a spread out look of the car's speed and it fits the guages nicely. If they made the top speed of the car 110, then it would give a spread out look and that doesn't look to good, for those who use to own a CRX, then you know what I am talking about. Besides, the manual transmission can reach up to speeds of 135-145 mph, so why should they make seperate guages for the automatic, the manufacturer saves money when they buy in bulk.

ive made it to 116 in a 01 LX 5-spd. car was still goin, and then this jolt, revs go hella down, and car pretty much coasts for like a second or 2. stock wheels and tires, no mods besides cosmetic interior. i hate the speed limiter. lol

BTW, i only go this fast really late at night on interstate highway with pretty much no cars on the road.

ive gone 130 with my friend in his maxima, and almost 600 mph!!! (in a plane )
