Got rid of the 2k1!
Well finally, I traded in the 2k1 for a 2000 Civic Si in EBP. Car is wonderful, definetly quicker than the 2k1. But the 2k1 was good to me, sometimes. Now its time to have fun in the Si!
go choice in getting rid of the 2k1, bad in getting an si instead. 4th most stolen car in the nation, not to mention you proably could have used the money to turn a 5 litre stang into something that lifts its front wheels and can spin out a manhole cover in the road.

Sure I could've gotten a 5.0 that can do backflips off the line, but my interest is in imports. Nothing against muscle cars, but I like Hondas. Anyways, I thought it was a pretty damn good deal I got. I found an Si with only 7,000 miles on it and it only raised my payments by $64 a month. Pretty good to me. So far, so good. I know about the theft problems on these cars. I'm going to do my best to keep it from getting stolen. Hopefully it doesn't. I love the car so far.
true, at least you didnt come with the classic counter "oh well my honda corners faster, more mpg, etc" i respect what u said. i myself am a domestic guy. i like to really rip it up in a muscle car.
with the si, u know you can put in one of those theft deterrant things like in south africa...where if you dont put in the right code when the car starts then the battery discharges its energy into a metal plate in the seat...shocking...really lol

Yes, another 2k1 has fallen. I'm already on Clubsi.com, been there for a while. Also, some people would prefer the 2k1 over the Si. Different strokes for different folks. I always like the Si and the b-series engine. I think it is much easier to work on than ones in the 2k1. 2k1 Civic is a good car, definetly alot more roomier than the Si. But I love the blue color of the Si and I wanted something a little quicker. I'll still be around 2k1civic.com though, love this board.
EBP = Electron Blue Pearl. I think
They should've moved that color over to the 7th gen, instead of Eternal Blue Pearl. But wait, that's EBP too......

payments went up "only $64. a month"?? how long is your loan? 3 years, thats an extra $2304.00, 4 years $3072. and 5 years $3840. i mean it has low mileage, but the car is also three years old, and not that much more superior for that much more money, i mean its your choice and good luck with it, but thats alot of extra money for an older car.
