My civic just took it up the rear :(
Yeah, so I was coming back from my lunch break and a big delivery truck (like the ones UPS use) rear ended me. He mainly hit the passenger side, which explains why there is no more trunk there, and basically pancaked my entire rear end. My poor baby
Ill post a picture in a minute. The shop that it was towed to is thinking about totalling it. I got pulled away in an ambulance because I got some minor neck strain from it so I don't know exactly what is going on, I am going down to the shop tomorrow to find out. It was the driver's first day (he works for Momentum Logistics, or something like that) and so he wasn't insured by his company yet. Ill post more information when I get some.

If they don't pay sue. I'm pretty sure they aren't allowed to send drivers out in their trucks unless their insured
Well that sucks. While it was probably an accident, and there wasn't anything you could have done about it, most rear enders are preventable by the person that hits the car. I would have been steamed and issued the person that hit me several summonses...

To be honest I am hoping they do total it out. The car isn't going to hold the same light as it did before
I am going down tomorrow cuz they are going to open the trunk and see what internal structures are damaged, and see how bad the frame is messed up. The shop told my dad if they fix it it will be a minimum of a month before its finished, if not more. They literally had to pull my tail light out of the truck's grill. Everytime I do some serious work on her, something crap pops up. Last time I barely got my system in and trim pieces painted before she got broken into and vandalized (READ: Less than a week). This time i just finished soundproofing it, and 4 days later this happens. Grrrrr.....

Hey guys, the man just got major whip lash and is worried about his car... Give him a break. I dont think he's wondering about what kind of car he's going to get next just yet and about the degree of his car. Hope you feel better man, tell us how it goes...
i hope the shop tatalled it. i have a friend who was rear ended just like yours, and his car caused more problems than expected. his car was never been the same again. Quicksilver, is it illegal for the car owner to convince the shop that his car is already totalled?
Well if you were not in so much pain after the wreck i would have pulled the old rocket launcher out shoved it up his a-hole and sent his toosh to mars. or just beat the living hell out of him. and if all else failed i would have sued the company so much that i would have a large dividend at the end of each year from the company profit. In all i hate to see a wonderfully crafted machine demolished like that. hope you feel better and get well. you have a lot of mods to continue doing to that car or a new one.
