Well, The radiator is trashed, and bent all the way back.. it's almost facing up. I hit him pretty square.. the front fenders on both sides are both pushed back in almost the same exact postition. The corners of the fenders are pushed back and up, overlapping just enough of the door to keep it from opening all the way. I'm seeing why it's not good to have your car so low. His bumper completely missed my bumper and went straight for the grill. I noticed today when i got to look at it from what i could see everything inside was trashed except for the actual motor itself.. and the way the hood is bent i'm not even sure about that. Anything and everything on the driver side is smashed... all those accesories are history. altenator, powersteering pump, etc.. who knows what else.. i couldn't get the hood up. I'm just praying.. the insurance adjuster will break the news to me on monday.

Actually if the damage is 80% of what the car is worth.. it's totalled. I already had to go through this with my Integra LS. Now we have a GSR ( just installed Thermal catback on it.. sounds sweet! ) So maybe, if this one is totalled i can take a step up and get a better car.

Spider883: make me a good offer on a very new Unorthodox Racing Ultra SS pulley set. They only have about 100 miles on them. Crank, alternator and power steering. They are polished. I bought them shipped for $311. They list on UR website for $359. I don't think I will be using them any longer and do want to sell them.

Actually, I'm not selling them. I had just put them on the day before the wreck.. they belong to a friend of mine and i was just seeing how they looked in case i want to buy them. So, if the car is totalled. Contact "Htownboy" for price info on the wheels.

yeah, he said he was suprised they didn't go off because hondas are so sensitive.. but since my bumper is so low it never got touched.. that's the only explanation. He said if there is something internally wrong.. then yeah. And he said my front motor mount was busted hahaha.. i didn't tell him i did that to make my header fit! Well, atleast i didn't get myself TOO excited about a new car. I'm gonna stick with my 7thgen for a while longer!

Bo0st, I just had my accident a few days ago. The front part of my car was ripped off.... I mean RIPPED OFF literally. My airbags did not go off. That might have been a good thing, but oh well.

Well, the airbag in my wifes integra broke my jaw in two places.. so i'm glad in a way they didn't go off.

Well, i'm going to talk to the insurance agent again tomorrow.. if they are for sure fixing it, and i decide NOT to trade it in (cuz i would hate to pay the next 4 or 5 years for a wrecked car) then i will find out the cost of everything they are replacing. A lot of times aftermarket products are cheaper than the factorty parts. It might be time for carbon fiber hood and fenders, and some carbon fiber headlights as well! I am a little more happy now, he said from what he could see the header, and intake is fine.. which means the pullies should be okay. So as long as i'm not staring back at square one.. i'm cool.

The only good thing about all this is either way it gives you an excuse to buy a BRAND NEW one, or hook up the one you got with a totally custom front end.

my front end almost bit the dust last monday.. lucky i slam my brakes in time.. ABS came on and stuff too.. probably 1-2 inches away from the accords bumper in front of me.. *whew*
