K Series Swap.

Allow me to introduce myself, My name is Alan, i currently drive a 2018 Subaru WRX. I have plans on building a Civic after I pay off my Subaru.

Im fairly new to engine building as i have only done bolt ons such as Headers and Cold air intake (and regular maintenance such as spark plugs etc.) This build would most likely be a daily/cruiser. and occasionally the track (Where i live we dont have a track. but incase i do go to a track day i'd like to test the ability of the car. This build is going to be a sleeper. Here are the things id like to know.

Ill most likely get the EG6. it has always been my favorite civic.
Ive been convinced to go with a K-series swap.

What's the Best Block/Head combination (I was told K24/K20)
Best Company(ies) for internal parts (My cousin ran mostly Skunk 2 for his Prelude when i was younger.)
Its going to be AWD because i want that traction and launch of the line.
I dont want to much power. Just a fun amount. 300-500. (no higher than 500. remember its going to be a daily) but I also want a good amount of torque.
Money is not an issue but i also dont want to dump my life savings into it. I might be going about $15k on the whole project.(Including getting a clean EG6 imported over. Body restoration, Paint, Engine, Parts, etc.)
