New To Hondas

Hello everyone,
I just purchased a LX that's pushing 206k for $800. I usually drive classic American cars but needed something better on gas for the time being. Are the B series motors alright for daily drivers? I refuse to leave anything stock and plan on an engine swap. I've done some research and everyone says to go with a K series for parts availability and strength. Money is somewhat tight and I'm looking for the best all around options. Any advice, links or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

-I don't race, street or track. I just like to be able to drive fast as hell occasionally. Who knows though, I may hit up a track one of these days.

Re: New To Hondas

B series motors are great DD's
K swap might be out of your budget if you plan to swap.

If you plan to build a fast car, the B16 and B18 are great platforms to work with, and they aren't as expensive as the K

Thanks. Any manufacturers I should be weary of when shopping for parts and bolt ons?
