Thumbs down Driverless Cars...

I just read a few days ago that U.K. is releasing driverless cars on
public roads wich means it will make its way to us and Canada now the
thing I don't like about them is just that being driverless im mean
hey..! its a sophisticated computer on wheells that's driving You around

somehow the idea of that scares me. I mean the fact that I am
putting my life and trust in a car, that's electronically controlled by sensors
and computers to drive me around. they even mention that google prototypes have no steering wheel built in them.!.... is really crazy. don't
like them one bit whats your thoughts on them? would you trust and

put your family or self in a driverless car.??

Re: Driverless Cars...

We trust computers with a lot of our day to day activities but I would find it difficult to trust one to drive me around. It is a great idea for cutting down on accidents and congestion and would be great for some people (like the elderly) but it is not for me.
