EDIT: it looks like a giant centrifugal compressor used in industrial HVAC aplications.

Hey! I've seen that before! That's the Turbo they use on the engine for that diesel tank-tracked pad that takes the Space Shuttle from Kennedy to the launch area! Hehe, maybe not... That thing only goes like 1mph top speed and it gets a whopping 250 gallons/mile... that's right I said GALLONS PER MILE!!

Anyways, that's a huge turbocharger.. Sweet pics, yo!
