Dont ever let your car get hit by hail. The hail storm caused $5500 damage to my car. They are repainting the whole car. The only part that wasnt hit by the hail was the pass. door. Now I have to go without my civic for 2-3 weeks. This sucks

Rep Power: 0 I'm sorry to hear that, and I feel your pain. It looks like my car will be in the shop for a while too. I got hit yesterday.

Rep Power: 0 Hail?, really?. Damm I have seen that kind of stuff on TLC on those weird weather shows but never heard of it first hand. That sucks man, hopefully you will get your car back soon, and back to 100%.
Good Luck man, keep us informed.

Rep Power: 0 I have a garage but it was so full of junk that I couldn't get my car in it. Since then I have cleaned it out and now my car goes in it anytime I'm home.

Rep Power: 0 That's what insurance is for...you might also try seeing if your homeowners (if you have it) can cover it. Sometimes they do when the auto is parked right near your house and is damaged as a result of weather.

Rep Power: 0 My insurance company cut me the check today for $5500. I received a check last week for $5000 to put a new roof on my house. It was also damaged in the storm. Gotta love insurance
