need advice
Hello everyone, just joined.
looking for a car for the winter and maybe even a new daily, anything really is better than my dakota r/t for gas costs, my question is what to look for/what to lookout for when buying a civic?
have my eye on a 96' hatch back, dual axle back exhaust, its a bit of a ricer with the body kit and all
but its not too crazy, has around 150k km's on it and says a D16 engine...anything i should look out for on it?
any advice would be appreciated.
sorry if ricer affends anyone
im new to this.

Re: need advice
i hate ricers too. I'm H.E.A.R.T. - honda enthusiast against ricer trash.
anyway, I have that exact car, not the ricey **** but the hatchback part. Love it. it's awesome. Get rid of the ricer ****. Seriously. The body kit will be a snow plow, if thats an issue where you live, scrape on speed bumps and attract the popo faster than a doughnut giveaway at Krispy Kreme. That exhaust **** is just weighing it down, and it's going to rust out anyway.
I'd get the civic if you can get it cheap enough, and if you have parts left over, put stocker **** back on it and enjoy it for eons and eons.
