That will happen on forums alot..some people ask a question get there answer and move on..not everyone wants to be "A PART OF" the community.. only thing you can do is give your advice...Dont give advice you know is wrong and when you give good advice dont expect to recieve anything..Those who stay will let you know if your info is good or not.. I can only assume this is what you are getting at from your post since you dont really aske a question..

oh yeh! simply reply and see if they come back.
most newbs ends with 2 posts all their life.
some get to thousands but never contribute to anything and hardly learn
and there are all the guys that have fun and learn with reading and actually posting replies (heck, i learned a lot by trying to help others instead of asking - the other members correct you and yeh learn even more)
