I'm glad to hear you've been enjoying the site civicstan, the longer you stay the more you'll like it, the regular members are like a big group of online friends.
I'd need to check exactly what the permissions are set to allow, but I'm pretty sure that has to do with your current post count. Once you post more you should be able to post pics, or you could load them up on photobucket and img link them.

It was local. The guy had sold his civic and it was just laying around. He even threw in a K&N air filter kit with it.

Haha I bounced mine off the rev limiter for the first time today.. yesterday I hit 7000 today I finally hit 7200... I gotta say the engine develops an interesting sound after 6800 LOL... I can't wait to blow this thing up.

The difference before and after is instantaneous and very noticeable!Side note, me and my cousin have the same intake. He's got an 03 ex manual and me an 01 LX auto, and it sounds deeper on the auto.
Re: What did you do to your civic today?
Not really trying to blow it... just driving it harder than normal lately...
I haven't ever bounced it off the limiter and I kinda wanted to see what it sounded like first hand I guess. If it does blow however no big loss LOL. There is a noticeable loss of power after about 6700 rpms or so.. I'm suprised how much you can feel it.
115k miles on a stock D17 + a rev limiter can mean bad things

The maintenance required light came on and i asked some random guy who owned an 04 EX coupe if he knew how to get rid of it and he told me
I knew it was somewhere here on the forum but found him before i got to u guys lol
I know ... I want to clean my car so bad but it's raining ... and it's not constant rain, it's a mix of sunshine one day and rain the next :P

I hit 5000rpm very often but rarely hit the 6000 range. I am afraid of losing control since I don't trust my car's suspension at all.
