Well, i was sent here from a guy at ephatch after i asked about this noise thing going on. All i gotta say is it really pisses me off. After reading every page on the matter, we really still dont have a solution. Im about 2 seconds away from trading this car in. The only mods on my car are a set of 5zigen wheels, and a ThermalRD cat back exhaust system. I guess i can go put myfactory exhaust back on. Sorta makes me mad though, seeing as how much i spent on that SS cat back system. Any updates on this problem. I guess i'll go crawl under my car and see what i can find that looks like it has been rubbed badly. If anybody finds a solution to this, or a real problem that the dealer is aware of feel free to shoot me an e-mail at gbutler@twmi.rr.com. Im soo tempted to trade this thing in right now, its not even funny.

well if you ask me this is an exhaust problem. At least my problem is

THIS NEVER HAPPENED IN MY CAR UNTIL THE GREDDY EVO WENT ON!

it sounds like it is hitting against something because i can hear it and i can feel the exhaust shake.

Which is why I think this is the solution:

And this further illustrates this:

Hey i got the same problem, brought it to honda, they wouldn't fix it but told me wuts wrong the mid-pipe is too close to the underbody of the car, when the water touches the hot pipe it makes the pipe change form and it rattles against the underbody

Ok, so are we saying that the mid pipe is the problem? We have people saying they got a new header, and the problem went away? I just want to know how to correct this. If it is a midpipe problem, then what did you do to fix it? Is there an aftermarket pipe out? Im about done messing with this stupid rattling. Im ready to fix this **** now. This week im gonna start my car, and have my buddy hose down the under carriage of the car real good. Try to see if i can pin point this problem. I just cant take it anymore. I love my EP, but this noise has gotta go.

Yup, that's the problem. Check in the Vehicles issues/problems forum. I believe Cute2k1 was the one who found it out b4 she traded her car in. This was over a year ago so I don't remember much.
