a couple questions for the experts

well I am here in wyoming going to wyo tech... in a couple months im going to be going into custom fabrication and then custom chassis and high performance engines.... when I get to these classes I can do all the work to learn and perfect my skills on my car so I have all the mods or most of the ones im going to do to my car for custom fab.... but when I get to the custom chassis and engine class I dont know what to do... I want to put airbags on my car I know that... and I can get a discounted price on anything or any part I order... so I need help on deciding what to do... im thinking full engine rebuild and and custom turbo too... but I dont know what that is going to cost... I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it would cost to get all the parts to do this... like a retail price and that way I can figure out what it will cost me after discounts... any help would be great or any other sugestions to do to my car would be great too.... well thank you...

actually that is what they told me at first but now if you are a student and you want to bring in your own car you can u just have to pay for the parts and let other people work on your car... so now I am able to do it...

I would bore my engine 30 over, machine the cylinders, get forged pistons, that have a little higher compression ratio. I would then take a turbo kit from a previous D block 1.6 civic motor and custom fabricate fittings and fuel system parts, get bigger injectors for fuel. I would then go to work to install a straight through piping system from some DC headers about 2.25 all the way down with a free flowing muffler. Then do intercooler and blow off valve, rebuild the transmission so its geared in sync with the turbo, install Apex-i VAFC and boost control, so you dotn have to kill the engine with boost for daily driving. Then do a basic CAI install preferably by Injen or custom fabricated. Also install a fogger Nitrous kit, pushing about 80 shot. Then move onto suspension and brake work.. Then build out your fender about 4 inches and mount 9-10 inch rims and tyres on the front and about a 7 inch rim on the back. And you got urself a lil rice rocket.
Estimated cost of parts: 4-5 thousand USD

Estimated HP with a 14 lb turbo 250-260 to the front wheels w/o NOS
