hey guys, i recently got a 99 2dr civic ex, sad part is, it's auto () after debating with my neighbour about "building up" an auto civic he suggested Paddle shifters. well i went to work on tryin to find a site that sold them for civics and i was unsuccessful, maybe someone could point me in the right direction on this matter. thanks in advance, u guys always come thru

well in order to add the paddle shifters, I would imagine that you would need to do something with the ECU to tell the car to not shift... so you would most likely have to have the tip-tronic system in the car...which would mean the ecu needing that in it's program
so, if you want to hack into the ECU, and reconfigure it, HAVE FUN!

Could just do a K swap with RSX transmission. They have the manual shift mode. At which point you could some how rig to make paddle shifters work with the trans. But then you might as well make manual after the swap. Just an idea. And probably end up costing a way too much amount of money.
Don't know if it'll work, probably not, but you may be able to use the RSX complete shift assembly instead of complete engine trans swap. Has anyone tried using this on our transmissions?
