What type of motor oil do you guys put in your car and what does the owner's manual suggest you put into the car? I'm assuming it's most likely 5W30.
oh and does anybody know where of a website that would carry an online owners manual for a 97 EL? Or does anybody have one that I could purchase off them?

Motul 8100Extreme 5w40 here. Can't help you with the owner's manual though, sorry. Check ClubEL.ca, tons of n00bs who ask questions that can be answered by reading the manual. If they don't use it, maybe you can buy it off them.
