accord se 02

anyone got specs on the accord SE?

so my friend hit 18.4 at the track at 72mph and i hit 18.6 but i went faster (74mph, whooooooopie!)

now im kinda confused.....how did he beat me if i went faster? i kno i trapped out higher but my cars lighter than his...edmunds.com says 2dr lx is 2465 lbs.....anyone kno what the specs are on the 02 accord se?

I believe that your speed rating is taken instantaneously at a point near the finish line. So, though you may get a "slow" start off of the line, your acceration through the gears may bring you to a higher speed at the end of the 1/4 mile run. At that point, you are "catching up" with the other car.
