damn that sux gearbox. I would just take it too a good tuner shop. When i take my car in i just take it a good tuner shop and watch them fix it lol. So i know there no mistakes, or i'm just paranoid like that.
first time I saw this thread... damn dude, I'm sorry.
For those who don't know, Gearbox is from Champagne/Urbana which, aside from South Illinois Uni and being 1hr 40min from Chicago is a total craphole. Nothing but white chevy/fords and other neutral merkan brands. No wonder why they screwed it up, they aren't used to working with japanese autos...
Dude, take pictures of the damage if you haven't already, and if you haven't, document all other mishaps you did correct (take pictures of and document unfixed stuff). Ask for your money back and if they give you crap, take em to small claims court.
Make sure to include all labor involved afterwards, replacement oil/coolant costs and any other costs you paid to fix their crap work. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RECEIPTS..
you might have a case but you can call some lawyers free of charge for advice if you're in need.

Gearbox... to fix the coolant, take off the radiator cap, turn on the car, let it idle for 5-10 minutes while adding subtle amounts of coolant to flush out air. The air will bubble to the surface but give it that 5-10 minutes with the radiator cap off... just rambling.. it works most of the time though... you can't have too much coolant, if you overfill it, your car won't blow up.

ps. yea i live in craphole. i hate it here but only a couple more years of school and bye bye. there is something wrong with most of the people in this town.

damn seems if you take the fender off, you might be able to roll like a tennis ball on the underside and get it to come out...
I just noticed something else...what kind of grill do you have...I wanna get rid of my H square....

I have never seen the older guys abuse any cars once.
I never worked at a garage and I was just making an assumption. Guess I am way off.... I'll keep this in mind though.

Hey Gearbox...
Just caught up with your post. It's not in the "usual" place on the forum.
Anyway, sorry to hear that the saga continues. I was pretty sure you had it all down after we talked on the phone for an hour or so.
This sucks, and is exactly the reason I became a mechanic, and a damn good one at that. But again, I only worked on my private customer cars. If it weren't for the 100,000 mile warranty, I would never take my car to ANY shop. But while I have it, I want Honda to have complete records of all the mandatory service. I always watch the clowns when they touch my car, though. I think I told you how they were all scratching their heads at my X-brace during an oil change? Like they NEVER saw one. I wonder.... really.
As to shop prices, they all use Mitchels guide for labor rate and hour calculation. A certain job is spec'd for say 2 hours at $65 an hour labor. REGARDLESS if it takes less than ONE hour, YOU get charged what's in the book, often more. In all fairness, it's very difficult to pay all the overhead to run a shop (trust me) and most shops have to gauge to pay the bills. That's why I work out of my house. I can be fair, have GREAT steady customers, and sleep well at night. No commute, either.
Well, hang in there, Gear, ol buddy.

okay i filled the coolant and the bubble noises went away. i am gonna say as of this moment, my car is running normal. i have exhaust, ported tb, and aem ps pulley. that will be it until turbo yay and more problems. i still will remember what we talked about in case i have to do it myself later. i am really hoping they tightened those loose cam rocker bolts (like i told them!).

okay my bad! the aem cam gear was on the old head it was covered up so i didn't see it. BUT it is completely useless. there are about 10 large scrapes on the anodized surface and they are sharp down to the metal. it would rip a new belt apart in a day. i'm not sure wtf they did to it but there's another thing to add to all the other parts they're buying me
