99-00 front lip

I've heard on the 04 vic's 99 lip fit but will it fit on an 01 vic. Sorry if its a dumb question. Also does anyone know what needs to be done to the lip to fit.

front lip will not fit on the 01-03 04-05 it will tho

yeah, i've tried one of my friend's lips on the front of my car (2000) and there's just too much of a gap around the area below the fog lights (the lip is still off the car about 1/2 inch there, yet touches on the sides and middle front)
