Just curious on everyones opinion about these chips you see on ebay claiming to increase your hp and torque up to 25%.
has anyone ever tried one? i just cant see them being all that great but i have no idea.
i've got cold air intake and my exhaust system incuding header is redone. i guess im just curious if i can get a little more hp with these chips.
how else can i get more hp/torque without buying turbo or doing a k20 swap(too expensive)

dont fvking buy one!!! they dont work. dont you think honda would have put these on the cars. this is not a fast car its an econo-box. you must buy a turbo or k20 if you want power. for cheap(er). your best bet is suspension and tires. suspension and tires should be upgraded on this car way b4 i/h/e. i mean look at gearbox he has put a lot of work and money into his d17 and it looks awesome but it aint a hp monster.

i had one, didnt do anything, took it off and threw it out, and someone told me on this website that he knows of 2 motors blowing from them, so yea dont get it

its a chip that tricks your ECU into thinking its getting very cold (dense) air at all times... this causing the engine to inject more fuel to make up for the thicker colder air, causing your engine to run rich, producing maybe a little more horsepower, but running rich isnt worth it at all. they are complete garbage.
