Just using Regular 87 octane, no additives other than what Arco put in their gas (Normally Arco or Safeway, which ever is cheapest). Just changed the oil this morning, so will see what Mobil 1 5w-20 will do for me vs what the dealer put in it (non Honda dealer).

I think the thing that helps me most is just not lead footing it, unless I have too. Once you get up to speed, no need to hold the petal down. And I do my best to work around rush hour traffic as much as I can, by using side streets and back roads to by pass a lot of the blockages.

36-39 mpg depending on the driving I did for that tankful. I usually do about 60-70% highway driving

Hit 80000 miles a couple weeks ago. '02 LX 5-speed

With gas going up so much, I was actually tossing around the idea of getting some lightweight 14's like from the HX and also a lighter flywheel and pulleys. It would take a few years to pay itself off, but then they're free!

I get 30 mpg's on the regular and i drive mostly on highways but i have a lead foot more often than, most road trips low 40's. and now since gas here in NC is at a whoppin $3.39 for 87 i have been driving like a granny. but i drive with the windows down because i like it i dont care if it drops my mpg a couple notches. but i am noticing now i have been driving so gently i am getting almost the same mpg as driving heavy footed. but 30 is fine for me.

well i got 553kms out of 43litres (i'm in Canada). i still had another 7litres to go until i was completely empty but thats damn good if you ask me. on a full tank going on a long trip i can go a little over 600kms. all i have is a generic short ram intake.

My last tank of gas was 463.90 miles. Took 12.219 gallons to fill the tank this trip. Only major diff in the tanks before this last one, was I worked less those weeks. This past week, I made and only 4 trips that were 43 mile rt, of mostly highway miles (those four trips).

Not bad for a 02 EX Coupe (with me behind the wheel).

If I do heavy city driving, idling at lights, etc. I get around 27-28. I think the all time low was around 25mpg. but it is usually better than that. All highway, I got around
36 mpg. '01 automatic.

I used to get 34mpg, about 80% 80mph freeway driving in Las Vegas (hard and fast driving)

I put 3oz of FP60 in the tank two tanks ago, and last time I filled, I got 36.

Although I'm a still in shock and denial, When I filled up this morning, with another 2oz of FP60, I got 37.5! It may be because I have 4k on my M1 0W20.

Not only do I get great gas mileage now, the engine is a lot quieter at 3k rpms and above.
