Question Need some advice...

hey all.

I own an 03 auto civic and im startin to hate it more more each day i drive. i was thinkin about sellin the car and getin an rsx type s but that never happend... stupied work. i was allso thinkin of doing the auto to manual swap but it cost like 1900 to do.

i came to a delema i have over 6000$ investied into my car and dont want all that money to go to wast b/c it was all hard earned. I came to this the only way paybe save all the mods is to buy a new 05 2 door coupe in manaul this time lol.

my Question is to you guys/gales would this work put 03 aftermarket parts on the 04.

but here is the thing i o 10,000$ and KBB said it was worth 10,000$ so that would be a strat up trade so i would be about even. if i buy the 05 civic i would put 0 down at the payments would be around 340 month i could handle that very ez but my mom and dad said if i bought the new car there not going to co sign so im going to half to apply for a lone and me being 19 i dont have much of a credit so if i did get approved for a lone it would kill me like 14.9% or some thing like that.

so i would like to now from you all what should do
1. get the 05 manaul and suck up the lone
2. auto to manaul convershion
3. or stick to the auto

BTW i make 1,000 every month

Thanks for readin... give me some advice point me in the right direction

Thanks

Matt C.

yes 03 after market should work on a 04. 01 to 05 i believe are mechanically exact so everything should be ok. try trading the ride after putting all the stock back on. then getting the stick and putting it all on that. careful though an intake for a manual is diff for a auto. good luck

hang onto it, save your money, when you get a better job, and/or when you save several thousand dollars (like 5-10) buy your RSX or get an 8th gen. You'll have to take the hit on the work you did on it and chalk it up to experience, next time be sure you wanna keep the car before you put a lot of work into it. You might be able to get more than it's worth without the mods if you can find the right buyer.

Ever think of just selling your car and buying another 01-03 with a manual? Just switch the parts over. Seems like the obvious thing to do.

Do the auto to manual thing, then go for either turbo or the swap
