Need info for dealership not to screw me over(headlights out)
Hey everyone, ok I took my car in about 3 months ago for them to do the recall on the headlights, the one that makes the low beams from not working. So now my right side low beam doesnt work and the dealership says to me that its not a part of the recall and its something else. I have a lot of stuff on my car and they said its gonna be $77/hour and they dont know how long its going to take since I got so much **** on there. So i bitched at him and he said he will look at it on monday morning. So anyone know if the work they did on the headlights could have caused the right headlight to go out(low beam)? Thanks everyone
P.S. the high beam on the right side still works.

well, did you do something that might affect the low beams, like put in different bulbs? if not, then there is a good chance they did something wrong, or maybe they didnt take care of the recall.

if you havent screwed around with anything at all, and the car is still under warranty tell them to kiss of and they have to fix it
i thought for the recall, both low beams would go out. maybe your bulb is just busted, also its been 3 months, a lot could happen, take the bulb out to see if its the bulb or the car. dont want to spen $77 an hour to do something you couldve done yourself. also you could try another dealer.

sounds like bulbs....take the one out, check it, and if you cant tell just buy a new sylvania stock replacement, they are like 5 dollars.

look at a wiring diagram and start checking things. Look and see if the connecter for the bulb is melted. if it is ok, see if you have power at the headlight. If you dont, check and see if you have a ground. And go from there.
