i need help on the dash trim

sup...i just did mine...i experimented and messed around with stuff to figure things out. Alright first off there are two clips in the front of that whole center console part and there are two screws on the side in the rear you have to unscrew also. Then you can feel the center console is looser. After that remove the piece around the e-brake by just popping it out of the clips and bam you have that piece out(must take this piece out first because the e-brake is in the way so you cant pull out the whole console yet). Then just take out the whole center console piece. After its all out then unscrew the screws behind that console to take out the plastic piece around the shifter. Hope this helps any.
what kind of paint did yall use
i was told i had to wet sand everything and prime it and then paint
i knew i had to prime it but i didnt know about the wetsanding and did ur paint stick good
or did it start crackin ?????
