Should I use it... or wait for turbo. Would it do much on an NA setup?

If anything you will probably lose low end torque with the decrease in backpressure. so I would say maybe not. Put it on and see if you like. If not you can remove it and I am assuming its not too hard to do from anyone who told me about doing it.

well... the problem is... a flange needs to be welded to one end. So it can connect to the cat.

I have a header and a 2.25 exhaust... So if I install it... I'll gain power?

IF u have an EX, i would install it. 2.25" should give u better top end, but ull lose some LOW RPM power, but most Vtec guys want to take advantage of top end, where most non-vtec guys take advantage of Low end... all depends wat u want.

i say install it. 2.25" isnt that huge compared to 2.5

2.25" is ideal for N/A setups

2.5" is WAY to big for a 1.7L SOHC, i would probably stick 2.5" on a bully built B18c1, or b18c5, but NEVER any SOHC, or anything smaller than a 1.8L.

Anyway, your engine is more made for top end performance, hence the Vtec head, so i think the 2.25" would be smart, but thats just me.
