i dont ever remember a kia being released and being the fastest import of imports also released at that time.... no offense, but i argue to say they are actually probably the slowest.

just in case you might think im also a troll, i only posted the quotes nothing more, so dont think im a troll for showing some people the horrors of over exaggeration. i did check out the white kia and the burnout vids you posted up on there, that by far is the only one ive seen on that site that not only looks good but also performs good. espscially liked the video when the cop pulls you over and simply leaves then you do a burnout. very nice.....

the only posts ive put up here are the pure and simple bs ones that just boggles the mind, dont get me wrong there are some (and i use the term carefully) really nice kias on your site.



but if i see anymore bs stories about a stock kia beatin a modfied anything ill have to raise some kind of hell.

agreed but im not sure that hes tring to say that, but rather coming from falling apart in a year to falling apart in 5 years. i think thats what hes trying to say, because he would a fool to say they are the fastest of imports

Sorry, by that sentence I mean % of sales increase and increase in quality. Not the quickest as in speed lol theres no way. they aren't into performance cars, just starting. And they are by no means a Lexas, but niether is a d17 civic. Of course Hyundai owns kia now, thats why the Beta2 (old tibby motor) is in the new spec5. though its no quicker than mine stock/stock. actualy its heavier.

Its a wink race mirror. hence no blind spots. You see these style mirrors on many nascar and other cuirciut type cars. It is awsome let me tell ya. (not to mention it makes no noise (solid mm=rattling stock mirror)).

Thanks. I have many more videos actually, one of the gauges when I did the 140mph run and a few other driving ones. I have a mount on the rear strut bar and soon to be finished mounts under the rear and one in the the front bumper.

I know not all that have posted from here were trolling. The BS and lack of cimple car talk is why a few ahve simply stopped caring, me included and continue to do our own thing. There so many new and ignorant people on there its hard to keep a legitmate thread alive. I have always said its nothing but an online forum, nothing more. others try to or are trying to make it more. I don't even consider it a car forum half the time because of the bs and mass of off-topic posts. There are many who feel the same way I do. I am a mod(and graphics designer) of that site so most know how I feel about it.

The whole reason we rip on your kiaZ site is cause you are modifying the cheapest cars you can buy. I mean sure a civic with an exhaust is still a slow crappy civic but anyone here will admit that. Except the select few with turbos (~150-200hp), K20 swaps(~210hp), or turbo K20's (~250-500+hp).

What I am saying is I have almost put enough into my car in aftermarket parts (nearing $4000-$5000 plus the definite new paint job/maybe lip kit coming soon) to buy a slightly used KIA and I don't consider my car heavily modified! The fact that this is true makes me lose alot of respect for 99.9% of kias since kias are cheap. The fact that any kia I have even ridden is was a shitbox on wheels doesnt help out either.
You have to realize the world views Kia's as crap. Thats their reputation: Cheap Cars. Hondas know for reliability. Ford for constantly breaking. GM's are very un-safe (and from experience worthless). Toyota is luxurious, cost effective, and reliable. Lexus is the same as toyota but with more prestige and luxury. Mazda is sporty and fun. Jeep is know for being good for driving off-road and in poor weather. Kia just isnt a car most people look forward to. At least with honda you have the S2000 and now the new 8th gen civic is looking promising. You get the point.

Everyone here loves our cars and everyone there does too but another thing is people here will call BS faster on me than a "drag racing" thread on a kia site. We are a little more down to earth in general, minus a select few exceptions to the rule, than the countless people on the kiaZ forum that consider the ricer fly by a win!

Well not everyone will admit most cvics are slow, seen it in person way too much, really any car is until at least in the 13s to me. But what is the wrong with buying cheap car and moddin? nothing. you can find cheap cars everywhere, for all makes. I know the car was cheap brand new, why I got it. but doesn't mean its got a cheap motor or is slow (speaking for me, not kia as a whole). there are a few turbo kias as well, but they are are crappy thrown together setups that will not last. Why i have the spare motor being built for the T04E.

The main reason Kias hold no resale is they have not been around long enough to build a reputation, and the first few they had were cheap, cause thats all they were trying. But now thier marketing has done a 180, and the cars sell for much more and are much better, as far as kias go. I have seen just as many **** boxes for all compact cars, its more so the care the driver puts intot he car and the way its treated. As for the motor, there are many over 200k miles and going strong, and still being modded. I agree Kia doesn't really have a flagship car. Not that I really care because all i am interested in is my car, not what the company does. I will agree most of them are cheap, but public opinion doesn't stop anyone from modding, for any of the cars you listed. Obviously my concern is not on public opinion of kia lol


Trust me, the posts you and the thread refer too does not represent the opinion of all kia owners or Sk in general, definitly not me. I get sick of the morons there half the time. As you said, every forum has thier exception, SK just happens to have a ton. My reason for being on that board is to try to show people you can make one look good and be quick. And i am sure everyone on any enthusiest board loves thier car.

joker car is mine but no longer looks like that anymore i have pointed that out to another retard kia owner, it no has a evo 5 kit dropped and no graphics, just black and primer at the moment. those are just old *** cardomain pics that i don't even mess with anymmore. its getting painted tangello in about a month after the weather breaks. of yeah and a gtr fiberglass wing.

no i mod for myself not others. i'm not in the show scene. i mod because i want a different car then the other billion exact same ones. be different then others but only cause i want to. plus at shows it's about being unique. that's why people do conversions. he is unique because he modded the **** out of a kia.

People are quick to forget that amongst the first tuner cars were older Volkswagons, back w. the pre-90s GTI models. I'm sure that everyone back then was laughing at them too and asking why in the hell they'd bother modifying an ugly as* VW.

no i wouldn't but that's because i wouldn't be driving it to see/feel my mods. if people like it too well then that's just a bonus. if i did this for other people's viewing pleasure then i might as well get them to pay the car payments and parts too since it wouldn't feel like my car anymore.

i understand what you are saying about the kias but the bottom line is every forum has @ssholes, liars, ricers, etc. This is no different.
What I will say is spending 10 minutes there made it seem like there are alot more on that forum then here.
I will also say when on like an M3 forum then there are less. I swear the more a car costs, usually the smarted the crowd as a whole. of course every crowd has a few exceptions but I think the cost of a car is directly related to the kind of person driving it.
Quick example; when was the last time you saw like a mercedes with a wing and fart cannon? See what im trying to get at here? I cant make a thread and pick apart like 1000 people, I am commenting on the average person.


To keep it fair: The average person here is like "Keep these altezzas? Look at my CD-player and subs. Check out my poopy underwear (maybe the last one is only one person )" But as a whole we are generally just looking to make our civics a little nicer on the eyes and in some cases a little faster. I know we have some people here who don't positively contribute. You will have that anywhere. There are also tons of people here who can tear apart any piece of their car and re-build it.
Im sure a few people on the Kia site can too but I doubt as many want/would ever take the time to as here since our cars are alot more tuning friendly than most kias.
