and just to get to 15 i had to hold it for 7 seconds

The other day i was at a light a civic dx pulled up and it had a lot of body mods. But not a lot of engine mods. he pulled up and wanted to play so i was all for it. light turns green and bang were off, my car had a little off the line stutter and was pretty slow. i have a automatic and i understand it will be slower, but not that slow. after it hit 4800 rpm it started to take off it was nice.
i topped out around 115 and cross the light about 2 miles away first but it had a very bad start. i have a forced induction hood and mushroom intake. i have bosch plat 2 and K&N filter for oil and fuel and air. it was fun but if i fix the problem it will one of the fastest automatic cars in my area off the line as well as topping out. what is wrong and how do/can i fix it.

hahah the problem with that last post is that usally its not the floater...its the fuel sending unit.
