lol the lil srt-4 comment with god is funny. its the same on my buddys thunderbird/cougar forum where they all claim to keep with mustangs with 5.0's my buddy has a 3.8 that is in the long run equal to if not a lil greater than the v8 cougars. he put a stop to these idiotic claims when he posted a video of several runs between me and him and on every1 i passed him and half of them i pulled on him harder than a sledgehammer to the face. every1 will find a car that outperforms them by like a second or two in the 1/4 mile and claim that they can hang with them

Rep Power: 297 The SRT-4s are actaully very very rare in Canada, not many people knows it nor appreciating it. Beside my office it is the Christler dealer and there is a row of SRT-4s parking outside during the day for 8 months, collecting snow and rain, The price listed on them is now 23k CAD/17k US...I feel sad about their sales.

Too many stupid suburban boiz buying Civics thinking that they are the shizzz-nit on the road, too few who actually have something to brag about. I still can't believe my old Spec (which was an automatic) beat a manual Civic EX. I remember he had me off the line, but not by much. I gradually passed him. I had to have had him by a whole fender pass the finish mark. I no longer worry about Honda-fanatics. Too many idiots. I like to go after Mitsu's and otherwise. Just remember, if you see a slammed or tricked out Honda, never be intimidated. Amps, stereos, extra lighting, ugly wings/spoilers, lambo door hinges...all of this crap and more adds a whole lot more weight to those cars than they were meant to handle. I remember circuit racing this own lowered and slammed Integra, he completely lost it in one fast curve, giving me the win. Heres the scene, I am folowing a CIvic that has a rear strut bar etc. I wanted to check it out as it had many obvious body/suspension mods done. TUrns out, no engine mods... So I am following him and a freind of his in another Civiic that seemed to have only a fin added. I am passing him to check out his car and offer a thumbs up as it looked slick from the rear.
Red light and I am behind the modded car. He is lining up with his friend...
The modded car pulls ahead with me right on his ***. He passes the other Civic and blows a little blue. I see an opening and mash it managing to get pastthe slower Civic and pass the faster Civic before hitting the next set of lights that I turned off on.
OH YEAH BABY!!!!!! I have passed a few but htis was a real line up and go. WOOOOO!!!
BTW I realize that idf he had any engine mods done he would have stomped me (but if I too had mods done....) Also, we where on the bypass so lights are 2-3 blocks apart.
Regardless it was fun and I feel proud. I plan on hand waxing my love tomorrow and have already spent 20 minutes wispering sweet nothings into the engine compartment....
I love my family car.

Every Thursday night alot of people up here meet up at this spot to show off their cars and set up races. This past Thursday was the first time I went up there since I put the Stage 1 clutch in. My boy who has a RSX with catback, AEM intake and a 50 shot called this guy out in a integra. To make a long story short my boy got beat cause the guy in the integra said it was just a GSR but it's not he's had some work done that he won't tell anyone about. ................The second race was against the RSX without using nitrous,(the owner of the rodeo drove it bc this was all between me and him) I knew I was going to lose but I wanted to see if I was quicker off the line. He cheated and jumped the line first but he doesn't know how to race that well but I thought the car would take care of his lack of skill. I was suprised to see that I was never more that a car length behind him the whole time then he missed 3rd, and I passed him and ended up beating him by atleast 2 car lengths. . I know alot of you do not believe the last race but I had 5 other people there who saw it as well. I have to admit I would not have beaten either one with my old clutch. b4 when I would redline then shift my clutch would slip but now it continues pulling and I can even chirp in 3rd rear. Maybe 01$ephia can come out next time and be another witness."---crucialjp he can beat a rsx -s with a clutch damn im shaking in my little baby booties

"im at a point now where i lose alot. i dont bother racing cars that i know i can beat. its a waste of nitrous and if i were to blow my motor on a car i shouldnt have been toying with id be pissed. but a car i dont think i can beat is worth running against. i raced a 93-95 rx7 turbo the other day. i could have beat him if i had sprayed but i had my wife and shes scared of nitrous so i lost. there was a 2 second timeframe that i though about flipping the switches and pressing the button but id rather lose than scare her.
you wont realy hear about people losing. some stories of losing are fun but not most. like the time my little brother had my car and tried racing a 911 turbo. he did it just to get the turbo to run. he got walked bad but it was worth it. who dosent get a kick out of seeing those cars actually get pushed instead of putting around town."---i really dont the rx-7 was even trying but OKAY

The SRT-4 maybe doesn't have the nicest interior in the world and the styling is love it or hate it, but you can't argue that they've introduced a nice package w. the interior and engine, with a -lot- of room for modding at a very reasonable price.
That was a tangent, sorry. All in all though, everyone here needs to stop trolling the Kia forums, leave the poor peasants alone before they collectivize and revolt, or start trolling this forum.
