Crazy Ass Gas Mileage
Most of you guys who complain of shitty gas mileage seem to forget you guys are riding on heavy rims and probably a giant system in the trunk 24/7.
Haha you have to pay to play.
I drive a 2k1 Lx Auto sedan.
Worst mpg I ever got was 23mpg with "spirited" city driving.
That was when I had SRI, heavy *** 17" RH C3's, and 2 12"s in the trunk.
Best I ever got was on a completely stock car with all highway miles, which was about 35mpg.
I drive 60 miles one way to school/work 5 times a day.
I wish I had a TDI...

Its all dependent upon your tire size too. I get like 365 miles per tank with 215/35/18 but if I were to run 205/40/16 that same tank would get me at least 384 miles.
I drive a 2001 civic Si (Canadian) depending on the gas company I used depends on the kms. On 94oc I get around 540kms on the highways, in town about 390ish. (I like to floor it). On 91oc Depending on the gas company I get around the same or way way worse. I have goten as little as 390 on the highways with it. (driving nice.) and as low 250 in town.

The fact that you had to plug in a purely electric car was a bad thing, but for a crop of Prius hackers it brings 20 -140 mpg increase in the hybrid’s gas saving abilities

I've reached 800 kms (500 miles?) on a tank before, and when I filled up it was only 43 litres (our tank holds 50 litres). That was during the blackout of Aug'03. I remember driving on the highway at 80km/h with the AC off and the windows closed hoping I would make it during the hour ride home.

That's something I'd like to hack! WOW, that is AMAZING! 140 on 1 gallon.my current record is 320 miles on a tank...but im about to beat that i nearly have 300 but i got 1/4th tank left
With short ram intake I get about 370-380 miles before the gas light trips, but after I put on Hyperground and Hyper voltage I can go to 400 before tripping the gas light. Everything else on the car is stock except for the dented door and cracked windshield lol

I have done 452 ONCE...on the way to lake-of-the-ozarks, averaged 39.85 mpg, yeah i know, i cant figure out how i did it.
Every car is different i use to be able to get 400 miles and now that i have i/h/e with no cat i get 350 miles. And i do alot of city driving and highway about 50 50. If I did a hole tank on Highway driving i think i coudl do 450-500 miles be cause i put the clutch in alot.

hahah this is funny..one of the primary reasons i got the civic was because of gas mileage..the ironic thing is that the highest i ever went was 226 on a full tank and yes i shift around 3k sumtimes higher..my civic rules!
I c ur calling BS on 515 on the 01 ex. I got 525 on the 04 EX 5 speed with 3 ppl in the car going 65 from Green Bay to Chicago and back. And then to school the next day. There was a little wind but it was always at my back. I think that I filled up like 12.9 gallons or more but I was almost out of gas and the light had been on for along time. NO mods at the time and no FP60 and was past the oil change by about 100 miles. True story oh and 93 octane. (I usually use 87 and FP60 now)
05 Value Package Coupe automatic
1st tank 433.1 miles, 11.50 gallons to fill = 37.66mpg
2nd tank 493.1 miles, 12.50 gallons to fill = 39.45mpg
3rd tank 488.7 miles, 12.55 gallons to fill = 38.94mpg
4th tank 436.6 miles, 10.84 gallons to fill = 40.27mpg
5th tank 463.9 miles, 11.65 gallons to fill = 39.81mpg
6th tank 419.7 miles, 9.986 gallons to fill = 42.03mpg
@ 4th tank started adding 2oz of FP60 at each fill up, tire pressure set to 40psi. can't wait to see what this thing'll do when it breaks in
