Crazy Ass Gas Mileage
 

Hey guys, I think my car gets the best gas mileage on this board, this is like the fourth time in a row ive gotten this many miles out of a tank... I finally was able to capture it thanks to my new vx8000 but check it....

btw 2001 civic 5-speed about 110,000miles

better than mine.

wtf...i never get that kinda mileage, 380 avg, 400 tops

Wow - I have almost identical mileage on my 01 LX 5 speed!

i get 400 no problem, highest 454.2 or so i believe. its all in how you drive. im driving to cali later this month, hopefully ill get even better, that would be nice.

I get 300 miles at most.
Got about 345 miles once.

with a b18c, i/h/e/ test pipe ( straight pipe) and the occasion spray of nitrous, i got between 310-360 a tank...... on 94 octane

how many gallons of gas did you use to get that mileage? Is that mileage just until the light came on or a full tank of gas? My light usually comes on after using about 10gallons of gas. Full tank is 13.5. I get on average 32mpg with my automatic. If your mileage is closer to the 10gallon mark, props.

Shit u all get bomb ass mileage.. I have an 05 Ex 5spd and I get 250-270 to a tank. I dunno whats wrong with the damn car...so far it has only 500 miles on it and its eaten up 2 tanks of gas. Is it cuz its breakin in?

i've gotten 420 miles with 4 people in the car and i was driving like a mad man AND the gas light didn't even come on. beat that :p

Highest I've gotten is 424, but ever since I installed my intake I've been accelerating harder because I like the sound. Now I only get about 380. =/

hmm i should try that. How do you know for sure if the mileage is really that much. Anyone can do that by using more than one tank then reseting. I ono, but I really cant trust that without better proof. However, Im going to try myself. I also have a 5spd and Im going to keep it at 5th all the time and see how much i get..

I get around 300 also with 10-11 gallons.

That's good mileage, but probably no the best. I've gotten 290 on a half tank before, freeway miles. I never let the gas drain all the way down though. And i'm certain that mine's not the best mileage. I've heard stories in the past of members reaching 500, barely.

wow, i would never get that close to 400. Im lucky if i get 24 miles to the gallon. But then again, all i have is a modifed exhaust, lightened flywheel and sports clutch. i use to have an intake but i took that off 20,000 miles ago (damn CHP) and now have 54,000 miles. even with my stock sounding exhaust (both of my exhuast pass smogged by the way) i can only get 28 mpg on average. must be all these damn hills. sucks living in the hills, but you get a nice echo esp at night.

250 was the best for me i believe

Same here. Since I moved to FL and only do city driving, I'm lucky to get 27mpg with all the shitty traffic lights down here...I was averaging 34mpg in MA :mad:

The most I have ever got was 325 to a full tank

I got ~480 with my HX once and close to it a bunch of times. That tank lasted 3 weeks!
