does anyone know how to turn off the maintenance required light off without taking it to the dealer? thank you

i think it involves the trip odometer reset button.

look in the civic manual. it tells you how to do it.

been awhile, i kinda forget

turn off car
hold in tripometer for reset
turn key to acc
when it resets turn off key
turn back on

I believe this is the correct way

Hold in trip reset button. Then turn car on to accessory, while keeping button pressed, hold it till light turns off. I think thats it. I'm 99% sure there was a DIY for this.
