Yo 909, why don't you check out the member's ride gallery, and look for the big man himself, Derek-CEO. He had a setup sort of like what you're planning.

Idealy, somewhere on the dash is the best place so that when you reach over to turn on the a/c or something, you won't be taking your eyes completely off the road..

Id put the window controls and mirors down by the shufter and the arm rest and i make the A/c etc all that stuff angled like an NSX i like that look
i think honda engineers and designers might have a LITTLE more experience then any of us here.....they know what they are doing. There are probably all kinds of insurance kickbacks and laws as to how and where they have to put stuff (generally)
PBfoot, the console you describe only exists on 2k1's and lower model 2k2 sedans. Everything else has a flip door over the cup holders and no slot.
As far as the relocation, you could put them were the sliding tray is next to the ebrake (if you have a 2k1 or 2k2)
Put the ***** in a triangle layout where the cig lighter is, with the buttons either where the cup holder is, or relocated into your door handle.

blackbullet's car looks like its a Celica wannabe. The buttons are really low and it looks like those are window buttons behind the shifter... Not bad if you drive a manual.
I however like them stock.

Well, its just closer to the stick, which is where your hand is, when you drive a manual. I said I like it too. I was just reminded of a Celica when I first saw it.
But I drive an auto and have no problems with it were it is now.
