Ya know, I am kinda disappointed with Honda with regards to the S2000. When the S2K first came out, it was supposed to be a limited-production car and was only going to be produced for 2 years. Dealerships marked up the price of the car $5-7500 because the supply was low and the demand was huge. People bought this car thinkin it was going to be a collector's item. Well Honda, as usual, screwed things up and have kept producing the car. Now it will no longer be considered a collector's item and people got screwed over on the price of the car.

Like I said above, the S2K was only supposed to be in production for 2 years.

I cannot say for sure. I used to sell cars at a local Honda dealership when the S2K first came out. All the information we received from Honda Corp. stated that the car would be produced for only two years, and was limited to 5,000 cars a year. This is the primary reason dealership were able to get the $5-7,500 above MSRP.

The truck will be out in '05. Haven't heard anything about bringin back the CRX. That would be flat-out stupid. Honda doesn't need so many product lines.

I think you are losin sight of the big picture. If Honda starts bringin cars back, and extending their product line, they are going to hinder their ability to concentrate on their current products and continue to improve them. Adding to your product line does nothing but "dilute" your overall product. Flame me for the word....I know it is gay!

crx was a photochop
type r in a lotus did around 3.8-4 seconds 0-60
some people in europe also put a k20-r in a 1000 pound go-kart looking thing and ran a 12.33 on the 1st try
Honda would be ****ing stupid to discontinue the s2000. if they did bring back the prelude or crx it would be cool, but id rather have the s2000 over both of those combined. if they do discontinue it though they better have a damn good RWD replacement for it or im never gonna buy another Honda.

I seriously doubt that would ever happen. If it did, I would never buy another Honda/Acura...European cars here I come!

Easier to do, and as we all know, coupe versions (any car model) weigh less that convertables.
