wow... my parents are like... dont waste money on those... n my dad goes out looking for OEM 2 replace my cheap/bad headlights... i am like the ones i getting are like way cheaper lol... plus my car... my anti-drug... hah well it goes like this... my friends take a sip of there yummy hipnotiks drinks (alochol)... n when i go near it " no no ur the driver, we need you " lol... =D

same same, my car is my anti drug, when i drive no drinking or blazing. just a few ciggies but thats it. My mom and dad hate modifying period. I havent done anything to my car that is noticable to my parents yet. Just a sway bar. I have 1.2k saved up for my custom turbo, once i get 2.2k imma just get it installed, then i already have it on my car and they cant really say much. Thats what my brother did to his accord. he just came home with 18 inch white axis, tien coilovers, and a full catback. They bitched at him for a lil but hes still got it on, so thats what imma do. my dad hates my car too he doesnt see the point on modifying the car but he loves in fact all my family has hondas we have 2 CRV's, two 7th gens, a 6gen civic sedan an accord and a delsol

Rep Power: 0 Geeeezz, what a bunch of old fuds! I'll bet a lot of those "old dads" had something hot in their day, and their parents hated it too! Then they got old. Then again, some of those dads probably grew up in the 70's and cars were pretty crappy then.
I'm probably one of the oldest farts on this site. I love modded sport compacts. I drive an 04 EX coupe to work every day. My kid has a 94 DX coupe as a daily driver and a 99 DX hatch w/ 1.8 Integra motor and Si trans. We did a rear Si suspension/disk brake conversion last summer and he did the engine / trans. swap last fall. He kicked my a$$ at the last Porsche club autocross, my 944 Turbo couldn't get on boost quick enough on that short course.
I've got a terminal case of Mad Car Disease,and it's genetic, passed on to the kid. I look at it this way, if he's spending his money on parts, there isn't much left for drugs and booze. And, he pays his own tickets.

He doesnt pay for my mods. he bought my exhaust for my B-Day I think it was. I bought my rims, system, intake, I pay my car payment, I pay my insurance, I pay my gas\oil changes.

my dad hates that i do any suspension and motor work to my car but he loves the bodykit and wheels and says it looks fine not lowered but my mom is the one who helped me pick the paint out for my car lol.... but she also says that after i get the turbo installed i have to get my own insurance.

Rep Power: 0 Well it is funny because my mom loves my car. If she can find any reason to take my car instead of hers she will. It is funny I will give her the keys and she will hop in there fast as hell and I will watch her pull out the driveway and I will wlak outside and I will listen to her take off thru the neighborhood and I can hear her floor it when she get on the main road it is funny. My buddy told me he saw me flying around the roads o ne night but I was my house watching movies and my mom had my car so i busted her for flying around in my car. She jsut bought a Pacifica and she wants 20's on it.
Now my dad on the other hand he likes me hooking up my car but he thinks I should save my money instead but he doesnt like driving with me becuase he likes to drive but he wont dare drive my car becaue he isnt use to driving a lower car he use to race muscle cars and work on his harley and now he drives a SUV and isnt use to sitting down low in a lowered car and racing seats but he doesnt care if I go racing jsut as long as I dont get in trouble. lol.
When i drive up to philly to go vist him and when we come back to va we will tag team the traffic like he will sit behind me while im doing 90 the whole way and i push traffic out of my way but if I get a jerk that wont move I will let him in front of me and with his navigator he will move the car and then I will hop up front and take over again it is funny.
