Unhappy 2007 Honda Civic Ex Coupe 2nd Gear Grinds

So I was kind of an idiot when I bought this car. Already I've replaced a motor mount, battery, alternator, terminal connectors and there are still several things that need to be done and I've only had for around 8 months. But ultimately 2nd gear has been grinding as I pull the clutch OUT. Goes in just fine when the pedal is to the floor, but grinds on the way out. I've been thinking I need to replace my clutch in its entirety but I thought I'd talk to the experts first Anybody have any ideas as to what this could be? My buddy's dad told me he thinks it's the pressure plate.

I've replaced a motor mount,
Expected
battery,
Average
alternator, terminal connectors
Not usual problems.
I've been thinking I need to replace my clutch
A clutch problem should affect all gears equally.
You only have an issue with a single gear.
Look to shifter and cables, or internal trans problems.

Ah i forgot to mention it does this in reverse as well. And around 5000 rpms it grinds all gears clutch pedal to the floor

So then the clutch is not fully disengaging when the pedal is on the floor?

Fluid low or air bleed, pedal pushrod adjustment, or a real clutch problem?

Floormats stuck under the clutch pedal?

Fluid trapped in the rubber boot of the slave cylinder can cause issues like this too.
