I didn't total out my car. I just did about $1500 or so worth of damage to the front end. It's all very fixable, but gonna be a PITA to go and get it fixed.
Not bashing anyone in particular, I don't know the details of the wrecks. I think that some of these guys drive them like they are in a freaking M3, and forget that it's a civic. Many upgrade the engine, sound system, and rims. However, they forget with more unsprung weight, more HP, you need BETTER BRAKES!
Just my dos pesos, change please.

Correction, They need better tires..... as stopping distances are more a matter of what tires you are running rather then what Rotor/pad you are running.
hmmm, i was one of the many to total the vic...its my second in as many years, first wasnt my fault, second one is a result of circumstance....dark night animal in the road and the tight boston roads...no worries...no more vic, thinking of getting a tC...lovin the panoramic moonroof...thoughts??? oh and please if you have any ideas on my thread let me know

Yeah, i'm probably one of the people you were talking about... but for me it was either hit a deer or take the ditch... instinct took over and i took the ditch.
Yeah, I totally understand what kimchi29 is saying. Even around here... I pick up the paper. This Sunday a 93 Civic hits curb at high speed downtown, wraps around a tree, driver 20yo dead. Less than a month ago another Honda slams a 13yo girl crossing street, also dead... it's scary.
But it gives Honda owners such a bad rap, I know sometimes it's unavoidable, but starting now, lets never get into a single wreck and see what happens, we'll be famous I'm sure. Who's gonna join my pact?

i think its just bad luck. When i had my piece **** old car , i never got hit or anything. Ever since i started modding my car and putting a kit, rims and after dropping it ,two days later accedent. Its bad luck .. Im thinking of just not caring about my car anymore so i dont have worry about it.. Ive been so stress out every since i got hit. Im going to fix it up next spring and sell it this summer ..

This is from my car buying FYI that I posted several months ago:
GAP OR DEFICIENCY PROTECTION
Description- If the car is ever a total loss, this pays for the difference of the value deemed by the insurance and what you owe to the bank.
Price- $100-500
Yes or No?- If you have a car that generally does not hold its value (Kia, Mitsubishi, Daewoo, most domestic cars that are not sports cars) or your credit is not that great, GAP is a good idea. Deficiencies in the first year can be in excess of $6000 on some cars and the extra $200 can save you thousands.
Refundable from Bank or Company- Yes, generally you can receive a value from the bank or GAP company. Some are even transferable with the car when it is traded
There are maximums, be sure to read your GAP contract.
I'll tell you whats wrong. Friggin retard drivers, meaning they dont know how to drive for one. Second they dont know how to drive at high speeds. So the two are a deadly combo. How do I know this. I've never crashed, and I've seen in person these idiots drive like tards.
