Lucas oil ?

i have used lucas oil while doing my oil changes in my 2001 civic ex. The first time i notice a resonable gain or something riding car. SEcond time i used lucas with systhenic blend and notice a better responds then last time. The only reason i used this is because my friend used this in his thunderbird for about two years. And he puts alot miles and his car like i do and he swares by it.. HE feel that car runs better now then two years ago. Now im planning and changing by tranny oil and putting lucas in there too.. Has anybody has used lucas and gotten good or bad results let me know.. other than that.. im going with lucas with all my oils.
