Somehow I doubt with 13.2:1 compression that thing could handle a turbo without blowing up. CR is already high enough it probably can't even run on pump gas. Add some more pressure and heat... it wouldn't last long.

Rep Power: 283 i think boilermaker is right on the cr being to high.... i think the block is mainly meant for na power....but it is also meant for 91 pump gas too.....you could prolly get some different pistons to lower the cr for fi

Rep Power: 350 The K24 motor stock comes with a 9.7:1 CR. Thats the K24 out of the CRV and Accord. I'm not too sure about the one out of the TSX. But the internals would be fine to boost a good amount on. I know that the K20A3(9.8:1 CR) can handle 12 psi on the stock internals with some tuning. I mean hell, Cybernations has a base RSX pushing 12 psi of boost and it makes 305whp on stock internals. So the K24 should be able to make more. And make unreal amounts of torque. One of the guy on ephatch.com swapped a K24 into his SI. He used the K20A3 tranny and ECU on the K24 motor and with I/h/e and a test pipe he is making 170whp and 150wtq. With a 65 shot on top of that he made like 220whp and 265wtq. So the K24 motor would be sweet to swap in. And you can get one really cheap too. I've seen them go for $1,000.

Rep Power: 584 that is 1,000 for the block only i think, but u must use a type R or S head to get a higher rev limit out of it. The k24 has more torque than the k20 but a lower redline. I believe that u must use the a type R tranny and ECU. And supposedly HAsport is working on the motor mounts for our cars.

Rep Power: 0 Curious bout this K24. How much more than the K20A does it weigh? I was wondering because I would like to able to mack the twisties in Northern Cali and hope that the K24 swap isn't a lot heavier than the K20 or D17 I have in it now. I wouldn't want to sacrifice handling for straight-line go.
