yeah, some guy on club-rsx is starting to make a performance series of the k24 with
darton sleeves, blue printed and balanced with dyno charts that should put 250 to the
wheels. the price right now is 5000 for the motor and reflashed ecu....i dont thing the price includes the tranny and axels and such but 250 na...id pay 5000. the guy also says that the motor should be good up to 9500 rpms.......sounds good to me....the thread is somewhere on clubrsx.com and hid name is edo....there is an irc channel on efnet designated for info on the motors and ordering. its #osmotorsports on efnet....anyways, i apinted my interior flat black to turn it in and i think it actually looks better now....heres some pics....im gonna try this.....

Rep Power: 289 weird, i don't see a diffrence from my stock black
Thats the look i was going for but its been such a long time since its been back to stock that i guess it looked different to me......im gonna trade it in for an rsx so like stock is good....
also, if im not mistaken, the k24 is the tsx 2.4....i could be wrong tho

Rep Power: 289 well, for those that have the k20 mounts or are planning to get a k20 should maybe thing twice about the setup they are currently planning. I am, however, in no way endorsing this product.....just thought it was worth some thought. it sounds like a better setup with a higher redline and stonger output....its got all the internals and such...

Rep Power: 289 well, its definitely worth research......i am going to be trading the civic in for an rsx (used) so i can have a reason to tear out and drop this little baby in.....this is actually supposed to be the "street legal" or tame version....there is another one thats supposed to be quite a bit more beefy but no price or info has been disclosed

Rep Power: 289 im not really sure that the engine bay would accomodate the motor...but with the right right amount of maoney.....anything is possible right? i know that the k20a spins the opposite way as the d and b but not sure if the k24 spins the same as the k20a.....im assuming it does as they are in the same family....just different displacement......if i had a 96 cpe....id drop a turboed b18c5 and run circles around most cars all day long.....stick with the b series....even the b16 is a decent starting point and they are relatively cheap

Rep Power: 289 try www.jdmhondaparts.com they can get just about anything and if you are going to run crazy boost levels....you gotta do internals.....pistons, rods, sleeves, etc....a b18 should be able to hold about 8-10 psi well
