the reason people who drive domestics hate imports is because people who drive imports hate domestics.. duh

either way you look at it, if you have a rational thought in your head V8 > I4 for straight line performance. Reason? A V8 will gain 10 times the power per mod as compared to a I4, plus they make ALOT more torque. Torque = acceleration.
People have to begin to look at a Honda motor in a racing sence. They make all their "power" up high, where your suppposed to be when you are on a track, cause Honda motors aren't designed to race straight line, they are meant to drive on the track (in a performance aspect, they are really made for MPG)
If your looking for a car to drive straight buy something with a v8, you'll go alot faster ALOT quicker and cheaper.
If your looking to have fun in the turns, buy a import, not saying V8 cars are not fun on a course, i'd much rather throw around a 2500lb car than a 3800 lb car.

Dumbestics chug gas, dont make alot of HP per liter (usually), and weigh to much to really get that experience of driving a car fast, the Corvette ZO6 is the closest thing I can think of, but it really isnt allthat great in the turns, because its huge.

only white trailer trash that lives in timbucktoo likes domestics....I live in Toronto, and from what I see, Everybody loves imports. they more practical and even with the HIGH as hell rates Honda sells their cars, people still buy....whats that mean?

bottom line domestics have cars that can run the 1/4 and still beat you on the track. i dont have a problem with japan SPORTS cars like the rx-7/8 , supra or whatever but you cant beat a big v8 , people say well i can beat a vette if i turbo and this and that but WHO CARES your comparing a modded car to a stock car. if honda really wanted to get into the sports car thing they will bust out a potent v6 RWD and price it under 50k.

Rep Power: 0 everyone in this thread is WRONG i love my vic to death and i also love my chevy. but in my opinion, the STI is and will always be the best "bang for your buck" car ever created, o...lol.....dont forget about the evo. these cars spank ALL imports around corners and can chase down most muscle cars, not so sure about the vette, but still. no car is all around like the STI and EVO, slap 3000 into either car and no one can f#ck with you.
