there was 2 m3s in my last school parking lot, svt lighting, s600 (sonofabitch), 3 series, and range rovers, an m5, . none of them paid a cent for their cars. lol, as soon as they get out of mommy and daddy's pocket, they wont be driving expensive *** cars.

around where i live, every iranian kid has a 70,000 car. 16 years old jeez.

thats why im stayin in college till i get my MBA. im gonna drive premium cars on my bank. not from any relative of mine.

and i feel sorry for them. they dont appreciate jack-****, and the don't realize that to be succesful it takes work. also, they think that a nice car buys them friends, and popularity and ****.... it didn't.

this kid i know acts like he's such tough **** with his svt lighting. fool, you were carpooling with your mom last week, stfu.

^True true

I dislike kids that don't earn their cars. I didn't pay for my civic but it wasn't my first car either. I had an 80 Buick Century tank and a 92 Ford Ranger before it. I only got it because I stayed at the local community college for those first two years of college and saved my parents enough money by them not having to help support me off at school for those two years. I also pay all of my own tuition (scholarship) and bills. All I wanted was a used car ( I was looking at a 95 neon for $2000) and the sedan was what I got.

dang, all those...to be honest, i think anyone in High school (like me) driving in a sports car is dumb, TRUE that I want an RSX-S SOOO BAD, i know that if you put me behind the wheel of one, i'll do something stupid like crash, misshift, speed much over the limit. I also think that everyone in high school should be involved in some sorta of accident (not saying that I want people to crash). Cuz i know that before i got in my first accident i thought i was invinceable and speeded everywhere. Granted it was a minor bumper to bumper that only costed me about 450 out of pocket...it was a wake up call (best lesson i learned to date)

yeah, i second that...i'm 2nd year in grad school, and i've seen plenty of ppl from h.s. and undergrad not learning their lesson until they total their first car...seems like it's usually an error of judgment like making turns at intersections, not just speeding...after that they tend to drive much smarter, much safer, cuz their accident scares the crap out of them...same thing happened to me too, learned my lesson, and just thankful that i and the other guy got to walk away from the accident...worst thing are those young punks who go zipping around in their rsx or celica's thinking they're doing the indy500 on I-66 (and trust me they're not, they'll lane change like 50 times, but they end up right where they started (usually behind me cuz i won't let them cut back in, :P)...they're just beggin for an accident

i dont like the ****head 16 year old with a new escalade anymore than the next guy, but its all a part of how they were raised. ive never really had to pay for anything but at the same time i was taught to respect what i get. my dad gave me $6000 for my first ride, i got a jeep cherokee. he told me if i took care of it hed get me something when i graduated high school. graduation time, he gave me $15000 for a car. its like he told me, "i could give you $25000 for a car, but theres no reason for a 18 year old to drive a car that nice."

this probably sounds like im trying to talk myself up or something, but it kinda irritates me when people get on here and go off because other peoples parents buy them ****. like i said, its all in the way the kids raised and how theyre taught to respect things and other people.

ps... i just got $17000 for a down payment on a condo, suckAs!!!

I don't think I would drive a really really nice car to high school .. Too many people around there that get jealous and do crap to you car. I just wouldn't want to do that. So I think driving your sweet car to high school just isn't a good idea. It's the only reason I waited until after I got out of school to get my new car.

BTW. . I was more concerned because people at my high school, for the most part drove crap. I saw 1 or 2 Z28 Camaros, a older Supra, things like that. . But nothing major.

I drive my 02 civic to school but there are nicer cars than mine. Basically how it is here unless you're a jerk or you think your cars the **** then thats when stuff happens to it. There are some decent cars, lots and lots of V6 mustangs, 5.0s, one Lexus SUV, some BMW's 3 series, 03 Tahoe's Suburbans, lots of fricken trucks, all jacked up and with 38'' swappers, and my friend got a supra!!!!! hell yea, and one guys got a camaro SS, and a girl has a really nice Type R Integra..if i were single she'd be mine. But i pay for my car! so im proud....unlike the majority of everyone else

i had an M3 in my highschool parking lot, but it was a 95 used...got it for less than 19! Too bad i think it was a lemon or someone wrecked it real bad before i had it because it kept having problems, so we traded it in for the civic!??!?!?!?! yeah i know, but try paying close to 2g everytime we had it serviced I miss her so much
