Buzzing from inside dash
Buzzing from inside dash
Like I've seen posts on here a loud buzzing sound but coming from the inside of the car up on my dashboard. It starts at 45mph gets louder. No vibrations wheels are fine. And like I said coming from the inside of the dash. Any ideas heard could be a loose screw bouncing around in my front dash with the air making the sound worse? Any ideas?

You can upload it to YouTube, leave it as unlisted, and then post the link here. I did that a few months ago and it works no problem

Re: Buzzing from inside dash
Cool noise. In the dash? Pillar? Corner window area and trim?
If you think it's windshield trim (did you try the wipers while it's making the noise???) , grab some wide painters tape and mask it up tight so it can't flap or move then drive it again. Mask off as much as you want LOL
If it's in the dash, You'll have to narrow the area down as you drive (push pull touch etc, see what you can do to affect the noise), then probably start taking stuff apart for access and drive again while you continue trying to narrow it down. Repeat until you pinpoint it.
If it's had anything non-factory installed (wiring, audio, alarm, remote start, etc) those are always a good place to start (like isolating wires so they don't contact anything)
