The next racing is scheduled for Friday night, April 5, 2002, which is Street Night.

A trip to NED or F1 Boston?

I'll have to make a decision on F1 Boston sometime today... Sh_it, I hate sh_itty weather..

NED. Looks like a few Accords. I dont think anything major.

Still trying to work out the details on getting there. I think I'm just gonna end up taking the train to my friend's work and we'll take his 97 DX. Getting kinda complicated trying to figure out how I would be able to find parking for my car.
Question though. Anyone with objections at meeting a little futher north on 495? Like at exit 38 (I think? The exit that leads towards Tewksbury) or where 495 meets 93. I believe that's exit 40. Those routes are a bit more direct since we are coming from Boston. No need for us to really travel West.

OK 2 things:

1st: Krepoort, after the meeting spot (rest area) we will be passing the exit you are refering to on 495N...
The scheduled time to leave the rest area is 6pm so you might want to find a spot along 495N, the convoy should be by there around 6:30 or so (depending on traffic)...Just an option, let me know.

2nd: To those meeting me at work (257 Cedar Hill St), I have to get my car reinspected (due to my boss keeping me late yesterday)... So, ETOD from here is closer to 3:30pm so I get up there in time for inspection and to a meeting spot... If worse comes to worse, you guys can meet me here follow me to my house and then go with me to the inspection, I know how to get to NED so that way we can still meet up with Krepoort at Exit 38 if my car isn't done in time; or hang out at the rest stop (yeah it'll be about 1.5 hrs or so wait time).... Give me some thoughts.

Oh, almost forgot: It looks like the snow won't be starting until 10pm or so, so we should be fine...But you never know.. You know how NE weather is. It will be "Polar Bear" cold though..

hey guys this is what the weather report look like as of 9:50-something A.M.
I think that we should call around 4 p.m. to see if they are gonna be open or not.
I checked the web site and no new info is up.
hopefully the weather will hold out til saturday morning.

I'll be leaving work at 4:45 so I can check the NED website and post any updates before I go. I'll give Blk4blk2k1 and Grey a call if they decide to cancel again tonight.

Meeting place - MapQuest says it takes 50 minutes to get from Boston to the Chelmsford exit, which means with the rush hour traffic, probably no way me and my friend can get there by 6pm. Takes about 35 minutes to get to the other 2 exits, so with the traffic and the time it'll take you guys to get there..it
should be perfect. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG] Chances are, we'll head straight up 93 to exit 40. The other way to exit 38 seem like there might be some side streets and such. I'll give my friend a call in a little while to see what he wants to do.

How about this. You guys take off at 6. Head to the 1st rest stop after exit 40. Whoever gets there first will call the others......which I think is what you just suggested [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]

BTW..how big is this convoy gonna be?
