Countdown for the opening of.....
NE Dragway
I'm already set to go on April 5th with some other cars... Come on out!!!!
Running has gone up this year to a meager $17, although to watch is still only $10...

In the past few years, New England Dragway hasn't opened on time for various reasons, like muddy conditions, snow, and repaving of the launch pad. Every year I get my hopes up to run my cars, and it never opens until sometime in may. With the strange weather we have been having, I just wanted to warn everyone. Your best bet would be to call a day or two ahead of time and make sure they are on schedule to open. Hope this helps.

Gates open at 5pm on Wednesday & Friday.
Gates open on Saturday at 8am.
Gates open on Sunday at 7:30am.
All other days gates open at 3pm.
I guess that means we meet there at 5pm? Would Friday work for you? What about the time?

From Shrewsbury, on a Friday, at peak evening commute time, you're looking at atleast a two hour drive, if not longer if 495 is a parking lot like normal on Fridays. I've made the voyage from Millbury many, many times over the past few years on Friday's and it's a long ride. Although it is worth it when you get up there and hear those motors roar at 8K rpm.... I would love to join you all, but weekends are better for me since I work late during the week. Keep me posted on a weekend meet there...

Rep Power: 386 Actually, 495N is not all that bad... I travel from Marlboro, to Nashua everyday in 40 mins (average) each way... And from there we could take 3N to 101 towards Portsmouth....
Still quite a drive, but not every "meet" is gonna be within an hour or close to home..
It's not like you got walk or anything...

Meeting place for all the southern People will be at the rest area on the NORTHBOUND side of 495 in Chelmsford at 6pm. We will meet everyone else at 7pm at the Rt 125 Texaco just outside the road the NED is on, on Rt 125.
