Where do you get your info from?

Fiberglass kits will last way more than a year, I knw, I had one on my integra. If you don't want your kit to crack, then don't scrape. Simple as that. I had my FG kit on my integra way longer than a year and I never cracked it. It did finally crack though when I scraped it over one of those parking stubs.

As far as urethane, yes their more reliable but not as many kits are in production in urethane. Also, Paint chips off more easily on urethane and they can get warped in the heat.

Both materials has its pros and cons. Just that so many people don't know how to drive a lowered car w/ a kit, which is why they say FG is not good.

why do people think that fiberglass kits are not that strong.. True they cant take a beating as good as a urethane but it still can take a beating.. my friend has has a Fiberglass kit for about a year now.. he has hit some firewood that was tossed in the road.. and the kit hit it.. didnt do much damage just a little chip.. he was going about 25-30.. and his mother has driven it and she forgets there is a kit and come flying up the Driveway.. the fiberglass kits can take a beating.. its just you have to remember about it.. you go over a speedbump at like 10mph. you will lose most of the kit.. if not all. but i think that goes for both fiberglass and urethane. scraping will not make the kit fall apart.. if it did. i think noone would get it.. you just have to be more aware of the road.. i see my friend dodging the smallest bumps.. however i am not going to get a fiberglass kit.. quality fiberglass can take a good beating. it's just that some smart people like to slam their cars to the ground with full ground effects, and drive like idiots on poor city streets. of course they're gonna get cracked! but i just saw a 6th gen accord coupe with a wings west kit (urethane) and it was in horrible shape.. paint chipped everywhere.. just goes to show it depends more on the driver

yeah.. my friends kit in the front was WAY to low.. he has stock rims.. and his Backend is higher then the front.. so it pushes the front down more. it scrapes alot but still has not fallen off.
