honda civic 2017 horn goes off when turning the wheel

I recently bought a salvage honda civic 2017 and noticed the car honks every time I make a turn. Sometimes it makes a lot of small honks and sometimes one loud honk. How can I fix this or make it stop?

Could be the clock spring is bad, or maybe the horn wiring is damaged and is shorting out somewhere. You need to do some testing

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Remove airbag......figure out how the horn contacts work. Might just need a little bending for clearance....

Could be a wire bundle not in the right clip causing the airbag to be preloaded toward a horn contact (used to see this sometimes after an airbag recall was done)

Take it back to whomever you bought it from (rebuilder?) and lodge your complaints, see if they will fix it.
