Question Car goes into accessory mode but goes to OFF after next push

Just purchased a sedan, 2017 Honda Civic EX-T from auction after it had been in a front end collision. No frame damage, no air bags deployed, new battery in the vehicle as well. I am able to press the ENGINE START BUTTON twice, and once i step on the brake and press the engine start button again to turn over the engine, the whole car just goes into the OFF position. Haven't used a scan tool to check for CEL codes as i have no access to an OBD II scanner at the moment. Just trying to narrow down some areas to target and pinpoint the issue. TPMS, VSA, Transmission, Electronic Brakes, as well as a few other warning's have popped up on the dash. Is there maybe a inertia switch that needs to be reset in order to crank over the engine? Possible ECU needing to be reset? Currently unable to figure out some issues that can be the reason why the car goes from accessory mode to off position without cranking over. Any help and input would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

the whole car just goes into the OFF position
Does it turn off, or does the whole car go electrically dead?
Check for paint under the ground cable attachment points/basic battery cable connections/loose or bad connections/battery condition.

No inertia switch.

After battery power has been lost, many warnings will stay on until the car is driven in a straight line so the VSA can relearn "straight ahead". I can usually get this to happen by driving across our parking lot, maybe 100 yards.

If it's anything deeper than that you will need a scanner to get more necessary info.

Correct, the car just turns off. As if i were to have the engine running and pressing the button once the vehicle is in park. I will look further into the grounding points and get a scanner tomorrow to see what codes will pop up and see what insight i can get from here.
