I agree with Bobby i dont know if I'll be going to Chicago for that meet ,we'll see... I have to see what they are offering if it'll be worth going or not. I plan on doing the NOPI tour this year I had everything planed for last years tour but my wife was in the hospital delivering our baby girl on sept. 14th plus the sept. 11th tragedy. this year is a go. I don't know if any of you guys plan on running the tour this year to atlanta for the NOPI NATIONALS maybe we can set something up for that!
Hey come on now Chicago is not that far. It's about 3 hours or 4 hours I think. That's not that bad considering what some other people might be driving. Anyway, I hope you people decide to come, it's gonna be a hell of a week end.

Chicago can be done in about 4.5 from Detroit...I'm down with this meet as long as it is set up correctly...with the amount of time we are plannin ahead...we should be all good...

jl's they work better in sealed enclosures. sure they're gonna be louder in ported boxes but the bass wont be as tight. i know a few guys that goto spl competitions and they all run sealed enclosures.
thats true.. i totally forgot about that
well, im off for my baby's first oil change *sniff* 5000miles in about 3months.. (3months minus like 5days)
edit: man this blows. i asked my dealer if i put any parts on my car if it'll void my warranty. and unfortunaly, anything including stereo upgrades will void a warrany! wat kind of crap is that?! sorry, had to vent...

oh and screw melton motors.. i'll still get my exhaust. and when i get a SRI, i'll just switch it to the stock airbox before i go in
bobby: if i take my car to victory, would they still do the maintance checks there? and are they as strict with mods like melton?
EDIT: screw melton.. im doin it anyways!

i am sure victory will do your maintance crap. they told me that before i take my car in for warranty work to just take off my sri. when i went there for my oil change they asked me a hundred question about my exhaust and sri though. they were like, do you noticce any difference, how do you like it, it makes the engine look better, the exhaust is nice, so they are pretty cool.

if you're talking about the door panels, they are on there pretty hard. i do recommend getting some sort of tool to pop the clips. and when you are unscrewing the little panel behind the door handle, be sure not to strip the plastic that is screws into.
dang, last time i worked on door panels we fooked it up.. it was on my friends cougar, and the kid i was workin with broke some clips.. now it wont snap back on... last time i'll work on a door panel
